15 Weeks! It's almost my 4 Month Birthday!!!

We can hardly believe that it has been 15... almost 16 weeks! It's interesting how we count the weeks but yet Riley's 4-month Birthday is not until the 28th of the month! At any rate, is this girl growing or what? We already have clothes that don't fit or that are bursting at the seams!!!
She is wearing 3 to 6 month clothes, but even some of them are too small already!!!
We see Dr. SAM on Monday for her 16 week checkup. Riley will receive her second round of booster shoots! Let's hope and pray they go as smoothly as the first ones did! :)
My Mom and Step-dad visited us over Thanksgiving. We mostly stayed around the house. Riley definitely kept us all entertained.
My sister Tonya and her two kids, McKenzie and Cole, are visiting in mid-January 2009. We are planning a 3 day trip to Disneyland to have breakfast with Mickey and Minnie!
We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holidays!

9 Weeks Old Already
Riley is growing so fast that we can hardly believe it. Sometimes I think she grows overnight. This picture is her usual expression since she still eats about every 2-3 hours. Her last check up was on Oct. 15th and everything checks out excellent. She received her first set of shots and hardly cried. I think the she was just in shock because she didn't know what was going on. She was almost 23 inches long and weighed 12 lbs.
We also want to thank Patty for coming out to visit in October. We had a good time and I'm sure she's changed a lot since she went home.
Be sure to check out the new pics in the photo gallery!

We celebrated our 3 week birthday! Man, she is growing like a pretty flower in the spring time! Riley is up to 4 oz of formula per feeding. And let me tell you about the nappies, it is such a gift to change them!
Bob and Carol return home today. We thank them for all their help for the past 2 1/2+ weeks.
Now some more pictures!!!

Only 4 more weeks!
Can you believe it... We are only 4 weeks from the 'due' date! What they say about time files, sure is true! Kelly and I have completed all of our classes. We recently completed infant CPR and infant ChildCare. I must say we are both impressed with the quality of service and training from our local Hospital - ValleyCare Medical Center.
We are now visiting our OB/GYN on a weekly basis. The only thing left to complete is the baby changing table. We have the pieces, I just need to put it together!
Now to our biggest challenge... No it's not the birth! It's introducing our "other" kids, Jazz, Oscar and Louie (pictures in the gallery), to our new bundle of joy. Only time will tell!
Bob and Carol, Kelly's parents, will be with us for the birth. We are thankful for them in this exciting time.
We hope everyone is staying cool and doing well.
Take Care!

Getting Closer...
It's only 1 month and 29 days until the due date... Kelly and Baby visited the Dr's office again today. Kelly met our 'potential' alternate delivery doctor. Everything is going well. The baby's heartbeat was clocked at 134bpm.
We also began Lamaze classes last week, lasting for 5 weeks. I was excited to be there, but I will tell you there were definitely some fathers that DIDN'T want to be there... It was quite humorous to watch them. We also have classes for Infant CPR and Infant Child Care. We take a tour of the Pregnancy wing at the hospital in early August.
Take care and look forward to hearing from you.
BTW... Our email addresses have changed....

Toby is toby_baird@hotmail.com

IT'S A GIRL!
Kelly, Baby and I visited John Muir Perinatal center on 4/23 for our BIG event! All in all, we were there for about 1 1/2 hours. Baby was very 'uncooperative' as the Dr. put it, and kept hiding under Kelly's belly button.
We are excited and proud to announce we will have having a girl! Both Kelly and I are ecstatic! We have been spending our free time looking for baby cribs and furniture! We have also spent the last few weekends combining our offices to make room. Don't worry though, we still have the guest bedroom ready!!!
We will be visiting our parents over Memorial Day in Iowa and South Dakota. We look forward to seeing everyone!
We have registered at Target! It is under Kelly's Name
Now for some pictu
res!
Contrast profile view: I think she has Kelly's nose!

All piggies are accounted for!

Baby got ...beat!
Kelly and I visited our OB-GYN on Tuesday, 4/2. Dr. Newman stated things were going well. We were able to listen to the heart beat via a ultrasound monitor. We clocked the heartbeat at ~150bpm... Dr. Newman stated a baby in the 2nd Tri-mester is within 120 to 180bpm.
Our next BIG day is 4/23. This is when Kelly and baby are thoroughly checked at the John Muir Parinatal care center. We will also know what the sex is then!!
Many people are making bets already! Kelly's Grandfather believes it's a girl and my sister believes it's a boy.... As for Kelly and I, well that' a secret. But seriously, he/she will get the same love, care and attention either way!
You might think we are crazy, but we have already 'narrowed' the names! We're also thinking of starting a betting pool on them as well. So make your guess!!!!

In the mean time, Baby is doing great! Mom is doing good as great, as well!!!
We have grown to 6.43cm or 2.53 inches. We also were able to count 5 fingers on the both hands...
